DESIGNER + CONCEPT CREATOR
Melbourne > New York > Portland
Laura Wade is an Australian designer based in Portland, USA.
This site is a dedicated log of her personal work.
The Linking Experiments began in 2010 as an exploration of textile structures and architectural forms.
Tiny loops are magnified, distorted and reproduced on a macro scale. Every structure is engineered as a vector illustration, cut by a plotter, then interlinked by hand.
The process was developed to design 2D structures that transforms into 3D, through manual manipulation.
